Meet “Anarch” — our no-compromise 6.5-284 Norma precision build, and one we’re genuinely proud of. The name fits: an “anarch” (from the Greek for “without a ruler”) is the sovereign who answers to no authority — a word Milton borrowed in Paradise Lost for the primordial lord of Chaos. It felt right for a rifle built on a Defiance action and chambered in a legendary, rule-breaking cartridge — a gun that bows to nothing but the shooter behind it.

No expense spared: a Defiance Deviant action (built like a tank, cycles like silk) feeding a 26″ threaded, suppressor-ready Christensen Arms carbon-fiber-wrapped stainless barrel, all set in a McMillan carbon fiber stock with an adjustable cheek riser and LOP spacers, a 4″ forward Picatinny rail, a 2″ ARCA rail underneath, and QD points front and rear. A crisp single-stage TriggerTech trigger breaks the shot and a Warne Skyline Precision bipod anchors it. All that carbon keeps it remarkably light — just 9.6 lbs with the M5 bottom metal and magazine. The 6.5-284 Norma is an insider’s legend — flat-shooting with high-BC bullets, the reach for cross-canyon elk and the precision for steel at 1,000 yards, without magnum punishment.

It also comes with two Hawkins Precision bottom metals — a Hunter and an M5 — each with its own magazine, so you can swap the feeding setup to match the mission, from a backcountry hunt to a long-range (LRS) match.
